Not Holley, Justin Jones.

Austell (Ga.) South Cobb High School DL Justin Jones watched good friend Juwon Young commit during a Miami visit the pair took over the weekend.

And while Jones didn't follow suit, he says UM is now in very good shape with him.

He is a Strong Side Defensive End not a DT. He will play SDE in College also, but can slide inside on passing downs but he will be mainly playing on the outside to set the edge of the defense. Especially in a multiple front you need big athletic DE's.

Go Canes!

it seems like the two states we have been going after the hardest outside of FL is Georgia and NJ. I like that.

He's already 260+

Him growing into a DT is a very real possibility.

Jones is a ******* stud trust me

2014 SDE Justin Jones would bring an edgy attitude to setting plays on strong side of the Edge in the 3-4 (aka miami's new multiple front). then you put your speed demon edge rusher on the back side next to your most athletic DE. Then they collapse the pocket from the backside while the strong side contains the edge, with the monster NT in the middle pushing the pocket.

He looks long and lean more of DE build, that could slide down inside on passing downs.

He's not very long and lean actually. Saw him and Saturday and looks like a DT to me.

Well then I stand corrected from. Would you say in your opinion more of DT build than Valentine or Jenkins cause those are some big boi's, and UM is after a few more DT's that are even bigger. 8-)

Go Canes!

I think we are just after D Linemen that can be physical and establish the line. If Jones is maxed out right now he stays at DE, if he gains weight he becomes an interior pass rusher. Not in a position to be too choosy.

Sounds like he may be in the mold of Olsen Pierre. SDE being converted to DT.

Kids a dt all the way...looks to be a 6'2 270 kid right now b4 his sr year.....we're not trotting that out at de any time soon...kid is quick as **** off the ball and would be a guy you can pair well with a big nose type like what we just got committed in Jenkins.
