These recruits (taking an apparently cue from several of our current underclassmen), have little to no respect for this staff. The constant cycle of entertaining an offer, "committing" and then ****ting on the school gets tiresome. All too predictable. Rev is content with sinking this program with all his buddies/family and making them rich! Becoming more of a fraud by the week...

They see what's going on. Like I said I don't blame them. Just sucks as a fan to have zero momentum/prospects toward being elite. Ever again. That's all 🤔

"Ever again" lmao man. Who knew these de-commits mean that Miami will never be elite for the rest of time

I will say I think “some”of the coaching staff don’t do a very good job of reading some of these kids but I think a bigger issue is we don’t cast a long consistent net of prospects and keep in touch and show interest just in case we have kids flip on us which seems to happen at a high rate. And now we reach out to kids we haven’t even slow played and offer, I hope some commit but it would have probably been a lot easier if interest was shown earlier and often.

Which is to say, no strategy, no plan, no situational awareness. Just awful, awful recruiting by Richt. Maybe if he hired an OC and spent more time being a Hc, he’d be better able to focus on recruiting.

I used to get so mad with Randy for not believing in Paradis type camps, frankly because he was lazy in regards to recruiting. Similar situation, it’s something so obvious yet we continue to put all our eggs in one basket

I expressed skepticism about richt as a recruiter the moment he was hired. People hyped some of his UGA classes, but failed to appreciate what the UGA machine does on autopilot (or is capable of with a better recruiter than Richt), and my additional concern was he’d be a poor fit for Miami and local kids. Too aloof, too passive, not sales-y enouh.

What I failed to appreciate was how bad he’d be at managing his staff at recruiting. But I should have expected that, because he made himself OC and now has a frenetic day job during the season. His last many years at UGA, he had an Oc and had more time to devote to program management. And still got himself fired.

I had no idea that recruits only decommit from Miami. Thanks for the info.

We by far lead college football in the last 4-5 years. The number is not close. That isn't a guess, I saw the number last spring where it listed the schools with the most...um was way ahead. And it's only gone up a ton since then

Duggins and Hartley seem to be the only ones who actually
A) consistently get good recruits
B) actually have ******* backup plans
