One thing I noticed

It helps when your QB can actually throw a fastball for the slant route or even a throw into the flats that doesn't take 3sec. to get there.

He looked confident on every throw too. Well prepared. And yeah his arm was a huge factor in this game.
 
Very few times, like 3 or so, did I think the ball placement could've been better. Then it was only a littl off, still catchable and a playable ball. I haven't seen this in years. Offense has me optimistic.

It's the d I don't like to see on the field.

He threw a lot of passes to low, making it impossible for the receiver to make a move upfield.

I didn't. Every long pass to the bubble or flats, I kept seeing Maryland last year. Scared the sit outta me.

Hope we go vertical more against KSU.

I like a lot about Morris, it's Fisch I'm worried about. He should know better.

I think he does. We might be overthinking it after one game.

We will see. Morris has got the skill set though, there is no doubt.

I was as well, I really wasn't even worried about the QB play. Morris's moxy is outstanding, I love how he plays the game.
 
Maybe this is wrong but what if the dinks and dunks are golden and fisches way of keeping our defense off the field. The longer we hold the ball the less we see of that putrid defensive line.
 
not sure he can make the soft, touch passes or even the deep passes. he needs more nuance. just about everything he threw was a rocket.
