On a couple CB targets…

I can't believe we're going after a player who spat in someones face and got ejected.

Un****ingreal. This ain't a culture, it's ******* pathetic.

I swear on my grandmothers grave, if anyone mentions Sean Taylor's spitting accident again, I will not be able to hold myself back.

I do not give a flying **** if you're Taylor, Brady, MJ or the Dalai Lama himself. You do not, under any ******* circumstance, spit on anyone.

It's the most vile **** you can do, it's disrespectful as **** and you deserve to get shoved in a locker and beaten up until the spit function in your body does not work anymore.

We're in the 100s in penalty yards for a third straight year. We laugh about the Florida CB throwing a shoe that ended up costing them the game for a penalty.

Imagine one of our players doing some stupid **** like that and it loses us a game. What's the message then? It ain't the culture? I know what the media will say afterwards: "Same old Miami".

I’m actually concerned about the spitting, personally. But always dangerous to speak in absolutes.
Claimed "offers" from bigger schools shouldn't be used in absolutes either. An early verbal offer doesn't mean that school is prioritizing a player. It could just mean they have some interest or are intrigued and want to cast a wide net.

I look more at actual visits and even then, you still dont know if its a plan b or c kid or someone they really want as a first option.

The fact that Dmoney keeps posting about this dude should be an obvious indicator. And this is where your NIL contributions are going.

Not to mention throwing out "big teams" are after him once again.
247 threw out that big teams are after him. It's not just some made up concept by DMoney

Any news on the Washington State CB? I like him more than the Arizona CB. Also Michigan state CB haven’t heard much about him.

Agreed with the 1 caveat I will wait to see what Chevis does. Wasnt he hired like 10 months ago? So while he still has not earned the benefit of the doubt I cant say I dont trust his evals since I dont think he has made 1 yet.
See what Chevis does? We should fire him when he fire that goofball Guidry!

Idk why people keep saying that.

But he hasn't had a single good game since he's been at Miami.

It's crazy talk. The wide receivers he covered against FSU last year and UF this year underperformed, so people attribute that to Brown. He rightly deserves some credit. But anyone who think that translates into him being a lock down Nickel is extrapolating into the "hope" realm, not based on any real science.

Brown may turn out to be really good with more reps. But you cannot rely on that. TBH, OJF got torched vs Cuse, where he hadn't really been challenged the entire season prior to that. That's now on tape. So I wonder if he's going to take a step back next season.

IMHO, there are no sure-fire top ACC DBs on this team, across both S and CB. I'd be looking for 5 guys, 1 elite guy cover safety, 1 each spot, and 3 other proven starters. You need 7 starters for 5 spots to cover any injuries or boneheadedness. We've got "maybe" two on roster.
