What’s going on with safety? Are they moving as slow as it appears or is it just being kept quiet?

If you asked me what they “should do” or need to do in the portal, they’re doing the exact opposite. So I’m guessing there’s something happening that I’m not aware of. They’re not that stupid

They are generally keeping quiet this year. I was told to expect a volume of visits at DB. At DT, they want a premium target to put next to their homegrown players.

I appreciate the kid has tools, but I just don't trust our DB coaches to develop them.

Wasn’t keeping things quiet their MO last year? Understandable with all the portal chaos.

Does any of the slow playing at DB have anything to do with the potential change of scenery activities within the coaching room that may occur after the bowl game?

I'm fine with taking this kid if the plan is to let him develop for a year and see where he's at. I'm not fine with taking this kid if the plan is to start him day 1.
