Kevin Olsen did not so great today.(yes the o-line sucked, his second game of the year, broken foot etc etc)

on national stage the kid felt embarrassed. This was a very disapointing game for him. He will get some trash talk from few people maybe.

This will make him stronger/better.

IMO after Phillip Dorsetts bad performance at the ND game he started improving and towards end of the year he was better than he was at the beginning.

I think Olsen comes in to practice next year expecting to work hard to compete vs its going to be handed to him because he is good.

It's an All Star game after 4 days of practice with a bunch of different players. No one is going to start question Olsen after All star game performance...Relax

Olsen will be a force to be reckoned with after he shirts a year.

Kid is a 4th generation football player, he's been hand molded to be one of those cliche ******* QB's

will be a starter in the NFL

my point was this type of performance on a stage like this is good for him on the long run.

I think people are making too much of this. Every year we read about QBs looking terrible at all-star games. That is because it isn't set up for QBs to succeed. OL have no time to gel, QBs have 3 or 4 days to get timing with their WRs, learn playbook, etc. Centers aren't used to the QBs. How many snaps did we see that were too high or too low? WRs running the wrong routes. Defensive players have a major advantage in these games.

I agree with you. I am stressin a bit (still have the Kyle Wright days in my head)

I am crowning not a QB anything, after all the hype machines come through miami the last 10 years.

UA game was trash all over

was hard to even watch that game

enjoyed the 2nd game today much more

What a stupid *** thread by the OP.

The kid had ZERO offensive line and the WR's couldn't catch a thing.

Good lord delete this nonsense.

Another point id like to add, and this isn't being biased towards our boy (this happened with all the QBs) it looked as if the wrs ran wrong routes 40% of the time. You can see it all over the QBs faces after numerous plays. It wa brutal to watch.

All star games are no place to judge a QB. It's more about just getting a glimpse of a players size and physical attributes, and I'm excited about what I saw from Olsen.

did you AT ALL read what I wrote?

let me explain to you again.. REGARDLESS why he had a bad game, being on national TV and having a bad game will end up in the long run being good for him!

This post isn't about how bad he played. its about what this will mean for him down the road.

Allot of these kids who play in High school and are highly ranked come in thinking they are invincible. It isn't until a tough loss during a season where the strong ones regroup re-focus work harder and get better.

IMO this happened to Olsen during this game. (one more time before you decide to not get this.. REGARDLESS of why he had a bad game!)

Could be worse... Could be Shane Morris! Glad im not a Michigan fan & looking at that as the future of my program. Horrible
