I like what i'm seeing from Olsen. He had that big sack and there were several other plays where he was applying pressure.

Shout out to Porter and Robinson too

They were in the backfield all night

Oh man I'm excited

Luther played alright too. Good to see Porter out there as well.

Outside Thomas we were pretty good vs the run

Not to temper the enthusiasm, but VT had a mediocre to bad o-line out there. Wasn't that their 3rd string center? Still, the defense and D-line in particular are improving.

give our D line some credit. we actually applied pressure.

i mean we made bethune cookman's o line look like Alabama's

Pierre played great and it truly seems like Golden found a gem. Played like a man on a mission.

I did. There's improvement, but it wasn't like it was an exceptional performance by our D-line (gave up just as many rushing yards, and had 2 fewer sacks than we did against Bethune). And like I said, VT's o-line isn't any good. I'm not hating on them. They are still too young to be overly critical of most of them.

Pierre just beasted Logan Thomas to the ground, then laid the wood on him the next play.

McCord's non-sack won't happen after an off-season of U-Tough.
