Ole Mi$$ about to do it again.....

At this point the SEC has been so good for so long they don't have to try. I read recruits that are undecided state that they want to play in the SEC but aren't sure where. That is a lot of talent in the south and enough to go around. It isn't like LSU, Alabama and UGA are having bad classes.

no the top 3 teams have been good (uf, lsu, bama). maybe add the one auburn fluke year. the SEC as a whole hasn't been great.

This. The one Auburn fluke year was the result of them being carried by the refs in the Clemson game, and the NCAA determining that since Cam newtons father actually recieved the money, it was OK.

The SEC East has been utter garbage now for many years, with the exception of two tebow years.

That is your opinion but SEC teams win the national championship almost every year and there is the perception from recruits that it is better. You don't have to like it to accept it is happening.

once again it's a few teams from the SEC. one of which in LSU that was about to fire their coach and another being UF which has been up and down and the jury is still out for. no every SEC team and sure as **** hasn't been ole miss or Tennessee who have been banking in the recruiting department despite winning anything meaningful and having much prestige. all the other bullsh*t the media and local dumb*ssess are feeding these kids is what we need to exploit.

Its a joke really...

College football is a pit stop.

ACC had more first round picks last year and played in the title game this year. I would like to know what conference has the most injuries. I would assume its the SEC. I think there are more solid teams at the bottom of the SEC and thats takes a toll on the body. If my kid was looking at schools I would tell them the ACC is better if he wants to better his chances of making it into the league.

How would the ACC offer up a better shot at making it to the NFL than by playing in the SEC?

bc the ACC has the same amount of players going to the NFL and more of them actually end up being good

Are you serious with this post? The SEC puts more guys into the NFL by a wide margin and their players grade out higher once in the NFL than any other conference. Your stupidity amazes me.

I think you better check the stats again. The ACC put just as many if not more in the NFL and as many first rounders as the SEC not saying the SEC sucks, but is not like they're that above everybody else.

SEC had more guys drafted in the 2015 draft, but not by a "wide-margin" as DC Dogs is spewing.
And the ACC (and Pac12) actually had more first-round draft picks.

SEC leads all conferences with 54 players taken in 2015 draft - NFL.com

The SEC had 54 players selected in the 2015 NFL Draft, giving the league the most draftees for the ninth year in a row.
The ACC was second with 47 draftees, followed in order by the Pac-12 with 39, the Big Ten with 35, the Big 12 with 25, the FCS ranks with 17, the AAC with 11, the Mountain West with 10, Conference USA with six, the MAC with four, the Sun Belt with three, the independent and Division II ranks with two and the Division III ranks with one. (One thing to note: Wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham officially is listed as being from Missouri, not Oklahoma; he transferred to OU after being dismissed from the team at Mizzou but never played a game for the Sooners.)

The ACC and Pac-12 tied for the most first-round picks, with nine each. The SEC had seven first-rounders, the Big Ten had three and the AAC and Big 12 had two each. This was the first time in five years that the SEC didn't have the most first-rounders.

Florida State, meanwhile, had the most draftees of any school, with 11. That gives FSU 29 draftees in the past three years, which is a record during the seven-round era. Miami (2002-04) and USC (2008-10) had been tied at 28. Second-most was Louisville with 10. Florida was third with eight, and Alabama and Miami (Fla.) tied for third with fourth with seven each.

ACC- 239

The past five years, the SEC had 246 players drafted while the ACC had 185.

Tell me again how you have a better chance at the NFL by going to the ACC.

And some of you guys cry way too much about other folks pointing out the blatant cheating that the SEC is getting
away with.

Agree 100%. When we were winning it wasn't an issue. It's an easy way to not look within and blame everything else but our cheap coaching hires and ****** stadium and fan base ( which also weren't issues when we won)

Some of you guys cry way to much about the SEC on here.

BS... they cheat and get away with it... Miss is a 2nd or 3rd tier school... NO WAY the pull an elite class without paying for it.

A certain former qb would say the same about Miami. I love how much Miami fan ***** about the sec lol

yes everyone cheats, but not everyone faces the piper (NCAA) thats' what you're failing to understand. and bc they know they won't have to be investigated they do a little extra.

Don't bother, for some, ignorance is bliss....for a variety of reasons.

You are talking about a small area in Oxford and beyond that Mississippi is a dumpster fire. Face the reality of Mississippi, bad in every measurable that you can look at, but the Grove is great in Saturday. Really? That's how you guys measure the world? I realize that S. Florida has issues, but not like Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama where 20-30% of the children go to bed hungry every night. But we have great football! And we put a noose on the neck of statues for slain civil rights leaders! Welcome to 1950, it's Mississippi.

Who the heck would live in Mississippi? ?

You ever been to the Grove?
