Who and how many do we take on the LOS? I hope we take 4 OL's and 5 DL/DE's in this class. We already have Donaldson and Ford committed...I think our classes look like at signing day:

OL: Donaldson, Kadeem Telford, Toryque Bateman, and a surprise or two like Slaton or even dare I dream, flipping Calvin Ashley

DL: Ford, Johnathan Garvin, Emmanual McNeil, Kane Taylor, Owen Carney, Jordan Wright or Guy Thomas

That would be my ideal class if we could get them all.....Thoughts?

Honestly think we need to take 4-5 minimum on the OL IMO. This class is stacked with talent, Slaton is a must get. We also need to recruit Georgia hard this cycle for OL as well. They have not only studs but also some sleepers some are really not talking about. Telfort still seems a little raw, good size but we do not need just good size, we need talent like Slaton and Tony Gray. Also, we may need to target that center spot as well for not only depth chart but for future reasons especially in case of injury. People keep stating OL is our weak spot, but what are we going to do about it moving forward to prevent the issue from reoccurring, taking 3 OL this cycle not gone do it.

Georgia has some really good prospects. Case Cook is a kid I wish we take a look at. I think Tony Gray might be trying to leave the state. Hope we take a run at him

Last I heard we wasn't recruiting Slaton..

Also, Telfort is open not bound to UF/LSU.

One more note, the biggest problem is that we are struggling to find true tackles. We can get away with recruiting 2 OT's and 1 OG.

Tederral Slaton is a MUST GET. Best prospect in broward.

Telfort said on 247 he committed to UF mainly for playing time. I think he's flippable.

I like Guy Thomas upside. I think he's better than Garvin.

Three things:

1. We need major help on the OL! 4 at minimum. All must be can't miss guys. Gonna need Tre Johnson come 2017 season and Donaldson to be an impact freshman starter that season as well, to have a premier line. No project or developmental types. Give the 2017 class a chance to develop.

2. We gotta build our DT depth and competition with at least 2, Ford and Colson (best bets), but hopefully some stud pops up. Pretty confident we land a couple really talented DE's, Wright, K. Daley & Carney (best bets), but a couple OOS cats showing interest.

3. Winning! Will change a lot of the recruiting options and commitments. Win 10 games with an upset along the way and cats will take notice. That will land us that stud DT or two. I don't think they turn down a stud DLineman even if 2 already committed. They'll take the hit elsewhere or the next season.

The Key to winning a football game is in the trenches.... OL and DL are the keys to victory. If I were the King at UM 50 percent of my defensive schollies would go to DL 30% to DBs and 20% to LBs... on Offensive 50% would be for OL 20% recievers 20% backs 10% QBs... Receiving TE would be considered receviers and blocking TE would be consider OL

We arent close to mauling cats but that is key.

And I would recruit to replace JRs and SRs... for example UM has JY and Grace ... I would recruit 2 LBs ... Unless less a kid was to good to pass up ... I would stick to a rotation that would allow me to continually to reload.

Guy thomas has never done anything on the field and isnt being recruited. Nobody wants a 200 pound de.

Also watch for this kid, Caleb Chandler, he looks like he may project as an OG in college but this kid is legit. Not being heavily recruited now but he is starting to pick up big recognition from major sites. Hope we go after him. Him, Netori, Donaldson, and Kyron Taylor are my favorite guards in this class. I like Herbert from STA heritage as well as an OT. In terms of DT this cycle I hope we get two out of Fred Hansard(NJ), Dalyn Wade Perry(NJ), Jordan Scott(FL), and Teair Tart Spencer(JC).

It will be a mistake down the line. His HL tape is more impressive. Than Carney & Garvin.

I agree we desperately need an infusion at OT. 3-4 should be fine as long as we get quality OT prospects. Agree that Telfort is flippable. Also I have no idea as to why we wouldn't be recruiting Slaton. We should be all over him especially given our need.

As far as DL goes, I want to see us land Wright, Carney and Daley. I'm not super high on Guy Thomas and I haven't seen Garvin play yet. I will say that if coach Kool wants Garvin then who the **** am I to disagree. I like Ford at DT and Colson and Bennett would be nice there but there is so much time left before NSD 17 that we all know that new names will continue to pop up. When it's all said and done I'm very confident of pulling a great group at DL.
