8-11 wins. Still a lot of ??s roster and coaching-wise. Way better than we were two weeks ago though!

All the mopes about to shift the goalposts harder than you've ever seen.

Constantly doubting Mario, and we end up with:

- a top of the line Portal QB back to back,
- a top DC hire
- completely flipped the db room just about as well as anyone could have hoped for especially when/if we land Xavier Lucas.
- Demoted y'alls baba yaga Dennis Smith and replaced him with someone well respected and brought another guy under him to hopefully continue the poly connections.

Literally we need the best WR available from now to spring, and maybe a couple more pieces and let the DC bring in some guys he trusts (coach and players)

When we brought in MC, he was my 1b to Kiffin's 1a. I was definitely happy when Mario came here, but I know (and still believe) that Lane would've won more games initially, but Mario would build a machine to last, it would just take longer than we wanted.

With this last hire, and the talent acquisition he has accomplished, I do believe that the Canes are shifting into that permanent strata of top teams. The only real threat in the ACC this year should be Clemson and if Beck stays healthy, we should have a very good shot to beat them.

As always, we have to see it on the field, but the plate techtonics are shifting and we have suffered for a very long time.

We have a chance here to really improve over last season. We will still need some pieces, but getting the best QB available, and one of the best DCs, is a massive step in the right direction.

I was expecting a really big drop off, but IF we can get our team to gel early, we can make some serious noise.

Players need coaches with brains to get them in the right position to make plays. Recruiting is nice, but if the coach can't coach, you simply don't get the results you want.
