"Florida State has suspended starting linebacker Christian Jones and defensive tackle Eddie Goldman for Saturday night's game against Bethune-Cookman, coach Jimbo Fisher announced Thursday."

Wow, must be serious ncaa and criminal charges to take a chance like that against BC. Maybe the stairs full with other players running them from prior St Bobby violations.

not that it will matter, but Bethune is actually pretty good this year. best HBCU in the land right now. I believe Thomas finnie is starting for them. Jontavious carter should be on the squad too

^ I think this is a good move by saban. Suspending yeldon for the first quarter against Colorado State. Yes its just a quarter and it's colorado state but all the kid did was make a gesture. It's good to see coaches suspend players for stuff like this even if it's light every once in a while other than hearing about Florida and Florida State players getting arrested or other actions and get a slap on the wrist
 
I had no problem with what Yeldon did. If that was an issue, then our entire team would have been suspended for most of the late 80s and early 90s.

I agree, that's why manziel doesnt bother me. I mean if any cane fan is mad at manziel for showboating then they are being hypocritical, I was just talking about the act of suspending him. Saban is a lot more serious than some of these other coaches and its good to see he doesn't take stuff lightly and actually punishes his players imo.
 
LOL @ the CPA. I am just picturing a big *** black dude in his pads post game with one of those green see through visors on, sitting behind a stack of papers, all stressed out.

Buddy of mine who's a die hard Nole says this happened before the season and Jimbo waited until now to suspend them.... SHOCKER! vs a D2 school
