4/28/13: ESPN filed a report on DT prospect Quentin Nelson at the NY NFTC…

“Four-star offensive guard Quenton Nelson (Red Bank, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) is one of the nicest players off the field, but there is a nastiness about his game when he is on it. The offensive line MVP played through the echoes of the whistle, and he wasn’t afraid to mix it up a little when the one-on-one battles got a little heated. Still, Nelson was quick to help opposing linemen up -- after punishing them to the turf to begin with.”

UM is still looking for a guard to round out the 2014 online class. But this kid is a heavy ND lean with OSU & BC following to make his Top 3. So UM will have to look elsewhere.

I would be very surprised based on what I am hearing if OL Quenton Nelson ended up anyplace but #NotreDame -- kid is very, very good too
