Like years past, everyone put your rankings down, 1-33 and lets try to save this baby so we can look back in 4 years and see how wrong everybody was. Here we go:

1.Duke Johnson- It's the easy pick but we have an immediate need at running back and he should play right away. 3-4 who should be an all conference type at least a few times.
2.Tracy Howard- Another guy who should get immediate PT. 3 years and he should be gone.
3.Ereck Flowers- Beast, animal. Wont play right away but when he does he should be a good one.
4.AJL- If he makes it in I think he'll play right away. He's the complete package of size, speed and balls skills.
5.Josh Witt- Love this kid. I see him being a faster Colin McCarthy.

6.Raphael Kirby--Could easily see him being a 3 year starter. Kind of reminds me of Darryl Sharpton.
7.Deon Bush--Not sure where he'll end up but I love him at corner. He can physically man handle kids and has legit speed.
8.Danny Isadora--Im thinking he's a slightly poor mans version of Brandon Washington. Once he gets his hands on you its over....he had a Wisky offer as well which is nice.
9.Tyriq McCord--Is he a DE or LB here? Either way the kid is too explosive to keep off the field. I can see him making an immediate impact on STs.
10. Robert Lockhart--It's too bad he couldn't make it in for spring but either way he's probably the most ready to play out of all the WRs.

11. Jacoby Briscoe
12. Jelani Hamilton
13. Taylor Gadbois
14. Antonio Crawford
15. Malcom Lewis

16. David Thompson
17. Earl Moore
18. Rayshawn Jenkins
19. Vernon Davis
20. Dequan Ivery

21. Gabe Terry
22. Herb Waters
23. Preston Dewey
24. Jontavious Carter
25. Jawand Blue

26. Larry Hope
27. Ladarius Gunter
28. Dwyane Hoilet
29. Nate Dortch
30. D' Mauri Jones

31. Danny Dillard
32. Jake O'Donnell
33. Gray Crow

Overall, I really like this class. It's balanced and deep. I see a lot of solid guys that will be able to contribute one way or another, not too many complete busts. Personally Im not a big fan of any of the QBs we signed. I like Thompson the best, although he has a lot of work to do mechanically and who even knows if he'll make it campus. One thing I've noticed after reading interviews and seeing videos on these kids is that the vast majority of them are well spoken. It seems like we are bringing in mostly kids with good attitudes. Overall, I give Golden an A-. He hasn't been able to bring in the "National" stud (that isn't local) yet like Darius Hamilton or DHC, however getting Tracy Howard is BIG step in the right direction.

What do you guys think???

I see Witt in college more as a Safety than a LB. That kid is fast and hits like a truck. Could be a John Lynch

I think Witt had one of the better senior tapes of this class. Kid was a 1st team all-state selection playing some of the better teams in Fla (Miramar twice, Manatee, STA). Hes got all the measurables, tested really well in combine settings, and produced on the field. For me he's the most underrated recruit (at least by the recruiting services) in this class.

Not knocking anyone else, but Witt is faster than a cheetah at lunchtime, and I agree, he loves to hit.

I'd like to see the coaches give him a shot at safety. Just give him a shot and see how it goes. I'm sitting here and can't think of a downside.

I did it by position, instead of just a big list. Really, it's like reading tea leaves. It depends so much on how hard these kids work.

Running Backs...Group Grade: A+

RB #1 Duke Johnson- Electric, instinctual back. Needs to work on stamina and durability. Needs to learn to block. Playmaker.

RB #2 Herb Waters - This is where I see him winding up. A ball player, but difficult to find a position for. Though he lacks top-end long speed, I like him at Running Back after a couple years in the gym.

FB #1 Danny Dillard - Red shirt. Needs about 30 lbs by graduation. Great under-the-radar pickup in my opinion as I could see him turning in to a versatile fullback.

Corners.... Group Grade: A+

CB #1 Tracy Howard- Complete CB. Elite. Ready to play right away. Needs to add about 10 lbs.

CB #2 Deon Bush--Physically ideal bump-and-run corner. Needs to work on anticipation and technique. Could add 10 lbs. I see him at corner, not safety.

CB #3 Ladarius Gunter - Physically elite corner. Can play physical, bump the receiver, and has good sprint speed. Can win jump balls and out-physical receivers. Will play immediately.

CB #4 Antonio Crawford - Lacks ideal height. Elite speed. Could be a good one for us. Physically ready.

CB #5 Vernon Davis - Lacks ideal height. Good ball skills. Needs to bulk up.

CB #6 Nate Dortch - Lacks ideal height, good quickness. Could be a good one. Needs to bulk up.

CB #7 Larry Hope - Lacks ideal height. Camp kid. Good work ethic, could work his way up the rankings. Needs to bulk up.

Offensive Line.... Group Grade: B+

OT #1 Danny Isadora - Very underrated prospect. I like him at tackle, could also play guard. Best feet in the group, I see him handling linebackers and speed rush very well. Needs to hit the gym.

OT #2 Ereck Flowers - Mauler. Love how the kid throws people around out there. Needs to work on his timing and technique. High ceiling if he works his butt off.

OT #? Taylor Gadbois - Need film. Haven't seen tape. Tall kid.

Wide Receivers.... Group Grade B+

WR #1 Jontavious Carter - My pick as the best WR of the class. Could add 10 to 15 lbs of muscle, but is otherwise game-ready. Will see the field this year.

WR #2 Robert Lockhart - OK size. Adequate speed. Great yards after the catch ability. Great hands. Great body control.

WR #3 D' Mauri Jones - Ideal height, needs to add more muscle. Very good body control and I love how he high-points the ball. Could have a higher upside even than Carter, but not as game-ready at the moment.

WR #4 AJL- Lacks ideal height and bulk for a WR. Good physicality and body control. Great burst, quick fast-twitch kid that is clearly an athlete. I could see him either being a good wide receiver or safety.

WR #5 Malcom Lewis - Lacks ideal height and bulk for a WR. Good agility, strength, and body control. Plays physical and with explosiveness.

Linebackers... Group Grade: B-

WLB #1 Raphael Kirby- Needs to add 30 lbs by graduation. Seems good in pass coverage.

WLB #2 Josh Witt- Good lateral pursuit guy on the weak side. Should be good in pass coverage. Needs to add 30 lbs by graduation.

SAM LB #1 Gabriel Terry - Red shirt. Needs to add 40 lbs by graduation. Seems like the natural athlete to play this position and take on fullbacks, tight ends. Needs to learn technique since he has played with his hand down in high school. Have not seen in pass coverage, may need some work there. Very high to elite ceiling if the kid puts in the work.

MLB #1 Jawand Blue - Red Shirt. Lacks ideal height and size. Needs to add 30 to 40 lbs by graduation. Good instincts as a middle linebacker.

Defensive End.... Group Grade: B+

DE#1 Jelani Hamilton - Great build. Needs to add 25 lbs by graduation. Could see action right away.

DE #2 Jake O'Donnell - Red shirt. Needs to add 40 lbs by graduation. Camp guy, hard worker, good upside.

DE/OLB #1 Tyriq McCord- Pass rush combination guy. Needs about 25 lbs by graduation. Could see action this year.

DE/OLB #2 Dwyane Hoilet - Pass rush combination guy. Needs about 30 lbs by graduation. Could see action this year.

Defensive Tackle.... Group Grade: A

DT #1 Dequan Ivery - Surprising power to push the guard back into the quarterback, and great lateral pursuit speed. Diamond in the rough. Ready to play right away.

DT#2 Jacoby Briscoe - Ready to play right away. Excellent hands.

DT #? Earl Moore - Need film

Quarterback..... Group Grade: A+

QB #1 David Thompson - Could use 10 lbs. Phenominal athlete. Leader. Most likely to succeed.

QB #2 Preston Dewey - Physically ready. Great coaching.

QB #3 Gray Crow - Physically ready. Could get quicker on his feet.

Safety.... Group Grade: A

S #1 Rayshawn Jenkins - Weakside safety prospect. Could use an additional 15 lbs. Could see limited action this year. Has all the tools you need to be great at this position.
