As a high risk woman my second. First was 16 years ago.

Anyone ‘with young children’ have any tips on how to raise a child nowadays? I think my first has grown up in a different species of human than nowadays.
Congratulations!

I had a second batch myself. Twins with the first wife, then a daughter with the second 14 years later, then a son.

The second daughter ended up with an evil streak when she was about two and my wife lived by the Nanny 911 book. I have to admit that it worked.

Thank you both! I may need 911. It’s hard to tell at this point!

My fears are how to combat the overwhelming influence of the internet ln every day life as he grows up so his imagination actually develops. Probably a massive challenge for any new parent nowadays.

Congrats! Amazing!

Our youngest are 6 year old twins, oldest is driving. We haven’t changed much between any of them, be present and engaged with them, love them, hold them accountable, love them, keep them off social media, love them, don’t let siblings become enemies, and love them.

Congrats!!!

Try to limit "screen time" and keep them engaged. Force them outside from time to time. It's never easy, but the world we live in (versus what we grew up in) isn't doing us any favors either.
