I need a break from the other threads and saw this on Twitter. Kind of interesting to see where Miami is on this list compared to other schools. Teams with the most offers thrown out make sense cause they suck and just go after anyone. Miami seems really low though.

There’s a huge writers bias in collecting info on who has a committable offer so I wouldn’t put too much stock in that.

Assuming for a second those numbers are accurate, it'd be tempting to say a Miami offer is really worth something because there are so few of them. But then how do we explain bama and UGA?

I don't think this data is from this year, I've seen this data before but it's pretty interesting. Miami clearly needs to offer more kids and way more out of state 4 and 5 stars. What is there to lose? The brand is actually stronger out of state and the kids are less flaky.

Bc they offer almost every 4 and 5 Star kid. They shoot their shot with everybody and process out kids as the cycle goes on

LOL. This y we kept hearing from a lot of top kids, “yeah, I don’t know y, but I don’t hear from Miami that much, but hopefully I will.”

I didn’t agree w handing out scholly offers like Golden, but u can’t be this low. We ain’t a Bama or a Clemson or OSU and even they not close to being this low. Nothing seems right, right now. This doesn’t make any sense.

I think there's an argument for almost any approach. We can give out a ton of offers so we're in it for lots of kids or just give out a few so they're valuable. If you just give out a few you can concentrate on fewer kids and really give them your best shot. But with few offers, you don't have much room for error.

In the end, it probably doesn't matter, what matters is can you close. And we can. Just not often enough.
