I hate to look ahead with opening night only a few days away but I just got really excited thinking about some of the weapons this team now has. assuming duke stays next year and I know thats probably unlikely....

Kaaya
Duke
Yearby
Coley
Berrios

the list goes on and on. If Golden doesn't start winning 10+ games consistently with this talent then yikes. these kids realistically should dominate the ACC like the Noles did last year. defense will remain a big question mark but there's no reason these Canes can't put up 35-50 regulary on ACC schools beginning Kaaya's sophomore year.

For ten years, we've always been looking forward to "next year."

Someone better show me something "this year."

lol @ this thread

but honestly the wide receiver talent that golden has recruited so far -- coley aside -- isn't nearly on FSU's level (though maybe that will change with the 2016 class). also jamies winston is probably one of the best quarterbacks in ncaa history.

Only on CIS is some rube talking about next year a few days before kickoff of this year. The absurdity on here never ceases to amaze me.

Negged to oblivion for posting this crap 6 days before kickoff

I won't be a jerk like everyone else. The talent on paper looks nice especially if guys like Scarlett, Cronk, and Williams stay committed. We're losing Duke no matter what happens. No way he stays for his senior year. Still the RB talent and WR talent will be **** near elite with Yearby, Edwards, Cronk, Scarlett, Williams, Berrios, Coley, Lewis, Waters, Brady, etc. What worries me is the OL. I have a feeling Flowers will be gone after this season. Also will be losing Feliciano and McDermott(not a big loss but still). After that, I don't think there is anyone currently on the team that can play LT. McDermott to me is a prototypical RT. Darling is an interior OL. Gadbois is a RT. This years recruiting class consists of a lot of project IMO. St. Louis is the only one who IMO can play LT in future but definitely not as a freshman. Next years OL could actually be worse because replacing a LT sure as **** isn't easy and right now I don't see anyone on the current roster or any of the current commits who can play that position. Bar Milo is a guy who I'm sure will get mentioned but I still don't feel comfortable with a freshman starting at LT. Yes Flowers did but I always thought of Flowers as **** near elite prospect although the recruiting websites didn't agree. The weapons will no doubt be there but I worry about the OL a great deal.
