# of offers per school

Michigan signed a high number of 3 stars and didn’t receuti well at all last season. Bama number seems pretty high for sure

How many of those offers are for the OL/DL? Bama pretty much offers every DT worth a **** and I'm sure they do the same with the OL.

Coach richt is making the Miami offer mean something that’s for **** sure. Not everyone deserves an offer from us. Look at uf with all of those offers they given out like they are some group of 5 school

Show me a G5 school with as much offers as Florida??

A ton of offers out shows me 2 things

1. You arent truly evaluating kids
2. You are chasing other schools and who they offer.

3. Dan Mullen loves the coock.

This whole thing doesn't really matter, and this stuff (legit offers) is pretty tough to verify. But I am not sure pumping your chest when you are on the opposite end of this metric than the two teams that just played for a title is the correct interpretation of the data.

This is pretty interesting. For what it's worth, Ufag, Tennessee, Ole Miss & Nebraska all have new head coaches. So they're offering everybody they can. Shot in the dark.. I'd imagine UK & Syracuse offer a boat load of kids who arent realistic gets. That would also explain some of the others in the top 20, like BC & Indiana. Harbaugh is.. Nothing he does makes sense to me anyway. The one that really stands out to me is Georgia. Why would they need to hand out so many offers? Sounds like a lot of kids will end up ****ED when they realize their offer isnt committable.

They are somewhat close to Bama in offers. I am guessing this is a carry over coaching principal. Another wild card in all of this is how/if these are verified to the extent possible, or just claimed offers. If it is just claimed offers, who knows how many they are offering in earnest, or how many kids are claiming the it team.

We have more pressure than other school when it comes to the scholarship offering process. Given the insane amount of talent in the SoFlo area, we take crap from the local community unlike any other school when do not offer "player X". This turns into the local coaches, kids, and families turning their backs on UM. The truth is we just can't offer and take every 3/4 star from the Miami area.

We have to balance a fine line of wanting the UM offer to really mean something versus throwing out offers all over and having them non-committable. The sweet spot is somewhere in the middle. For example, what is the harm with offering Dunmore (no player has received more hype than him this off season) and telling him we cant to come check him out in fall practice/regular season? Not saying we should offer every camp warrior but this kid is local, has pull with other big time recruits, plays for SFE, and his lack of UM offer has been pretty public.

When you properly evaluate talent and know who you want you don't need to send out as many offers as UF. That's ridiculous!

This is all *reported offers...I mean there were articles published here with the title Miami offers Ashton Pierre (Cornelius Nunn this year for instance)

All to be taken with a grain of salt.

Exactly Skeeter. I would bet the coaches laugh hysterically at this.

Recruits say they have interest from so and so or are interested in, they go on this list. Great self promotion for those recruits though as saying Alabama is interested will ultimately make some schools look at that recruit.

Alabama has given out 205 offers according to that list. I have no idea why anyone criticizes schools for giving out more offers. What matters is the class that signs. Particularly where Albama is the best program and recruiting school in the country and can be picky ..but they too are giving out many offers. Let’s not pat ourselves on the back for being parsimonious with offers. Let’s focus on results.
