I'm too lazy to look up the rule, but is this permitted under NCAA rules? I believe the rules say that these things can't be from a "booster." Whatever the definition, doesn't buying 100 sets of a $300 gift qualify the giver/grantor as a booster? If so, does that mean he can't do it after the first time, because at the time of the $300 x 100 gift he was not a booster?

lebron bought OSU players a similar gift. mike norvell is buying his guys suits. idk whats allowed and what isnt anymore.

1. Anyone can get a gift up to a certain price apparently
2. It's within the rules if each player gets it, basically like a bowl game giveaway
