If we don't win game 1 it is doubtful we win the next 4. UF should be favored to win our bracket no UM.

Kinda like how in NBA.NHL when team is favored in game 1 but a small dog for the series. These odds arent true to there chances its just what oddsmakers expect or have recieved in action.

If i set odds on what i think they should be not related to gambling it would be:

LSU +300
Miami +500
UF +375
Vandy +275
TCU +600
Virginia 8-1
CS Full 12-1
Ark 9-1

100 bet for Ark would win 1,500 if they won the CWS.

I think I get it now, LSU is the picked winner by Vegas because of the +280? Is +350 the same as 3.5-1? Also, what's the deal with negative numbers?

I think I get it now, LSU is the picked winner by Vegas because of the +280? Is +350 the same as 3.5-1? Also, what's the deal with negative numbers?

Thats correct. Those arent negative #'s same as +1500, etc. Just when u get double digits its easier to read to write like 15-1.
 
Crazy line. I would think the odds for game one would be about 5-1 for the Canes.

Have these guys actually WATCHED us andUF play? :O

LSU has a cakewalk to the Finals . (Don't want to hear about Vandy. Fluke winner last year, will BBQ this year)

UF now up to -180 favorite in game 1. Total is 11.5

^^These are the negative numbers I mean. I get that further negative is the favorite, but why negative?

LSU is no lock as they have been less than stellar in the post season and Vandy has been very impressive.
