Despite the overall D-line performance, I actually liked what I saw from this kid. Put himself in real nice position to make some plays in the backfield, but couldn't quite finish. Gotta think it'll come.

I agree. I thought he and Robinson actually did some nice things. I look for them to improve as the year progresses.

Yea, a couple times he had the ball carrier stopped in the backfield but lost the tackle...it'll all come together for him soon. Hopefully next week soon.

not announced but he shouldn't be back for k state and week three not worth it imho. truly a guess by me week four or five is what everyone is saying. i hope

I singled out Robinson. He busted up the middle a couple times to disrupt things. He needs more consistency. Plus lets not forget he forced the fumble down inside the 10. That was a great play and one I have not seen from an interior DL in a while.

One plat Pierre was lost on the sidelines (which happened one too many times)
And ran on the field, got set just as the ball was snapped, and held up the guard and made his way to the RB
