Canes Fam - The Eligibility Chart has been updated.

The notable changes include the addition of the Summer II Enrollees Kevin Olsen, Gus Edwards, Stacy Coley, Corn Elder and Walter Tucker. Jacoby Briscoe and David Thompson have been removed.

The official roster lists Corn as an Ath, Gus as a RB and Tucker as a LB. I moved Gus from FB to RB on the chart to the dearth of experience we have there. Plus he is listed as #7 so theoretically he should be a playmaker. Anyways we are covered at the FB position this season with Maurice Hagens - SR. Ray Lewis III is listed at RB but I kept him as Ath as he will most likely be redshirted.

Lastly I added back Kamalu to the "signees" column since he did sign with us and it seems as though there might be an inkling of hope still that he enrolls.

With all the adjustments we still remain 4 less than the maximum 85 scholarships allotted.

I thought Tucker was coming in on a track 'ship and guaranteed one in football...

Thinnest Positions: DT. Scary to think we might not even bring in one freshman if Kamalu doesn't get in. DE. Same type of situation with AQM. Really need to get quality depth in ASAP.
Offense looks fine with the exception of FB and TE.

Agreed on the DL. At TE we have Warlord, Sandland, Dobard for the next two years.... then its Dobard, Griffen, O'donnell, Lockely for two more perhaps... Solid in IMHO

Gus the Bus will have to have Jerome Bettis feet to avoid being a future fullback. How many FBs do you actually need? 2-3 including walkons I imagine these days

So we will be at around 79 heading into Fall practice.

81- (4)- Ivery, Bond, Griffen, Lockley + (2) Gilbert and Derosier = 79
