Being that I graduated this past spring, it is **** weird not to be at Sun Life on Friday for opening night. Was looking to get an idea of the Canes football scene in the NY/NJ area, best places to go for games, etc. Much thanks.

Brother Jimmy's used to be the place. A TON of Canes fans, but be warned, a lot don't watch the game and are there to bull****. You'll have fun though. I think it is still there but maybe somebody else can chime in.

There's a few brother Jimmy's in the city. The official ones for the games are in union square (E. 16th street) and Murray Hill (Lexington and 31st). Often quite a few canes fans/alums but agree with the post above that 99% of the time the people not watching the game outnumber those who are

Don't waste your time.

I'll be watching the game from the couch, bro.

I have done the bars for years; my crew has done the bars for years; best advice, don't do the bars.

Who knows? If you're cool enough, you can come kick it with me one day.

It's like the NY lotto, ya never know, :rollcanes:

Brother Jimmy's on Lexington and 31st will be going off, as usual. Already reserved my table for the UF game too.

I watched 1 game at Bro Jims and it sucked if you want to watch the game. If you want to socialize, then it is great.

I prefer to go to places that play music during the commercials and not during the entire **** game. It's totally fine for watching other games, but I can't watch a Canes game where it seems like it is just in the background.
