I thought all transfers plus recruits signed are all counters for a total of 25? Why do some schools have much higher numbers? UF has 29, UGA has 28? I don’t understand... what is the penalty for over signing? There are many other schools above 25.

Lots of threads on this.

First, there MIGHT BE "mid-year graduation replacement exception" numbers. Each school is different.

Second, there MIGHT BE a case where a school did not use all their IC slots from the prior year.

IT DEPENDS. Which is why we shouldn't focus on others, we should just focus on ourselves.

If you have time to track 130 Division I-A schools and their ICs, then please do so. Otherwise, I only care about this U.
