One year after Notre Dame football lost its starting QB, Everett Golson, for the 2013 season after he was caught cheating on an exam, the Fighting Irish team is dealing with the repercussions from more academic fraud.

This time, four starters have been dismissed from ND after the school conducted an internal investigation this summer, sources close to the program told FOX Sports.

It is unclear at this time if the four players will be able allowed to return to the school in the future as Golson has after he sat out the entire fall semester. He returned to South Bend last winter and has won his old starting QB job.

The Irish, ranked No. 17 in the preseason coaches poll, open the year Aug. 30 against Rice.

This is nothing. Wake me up when they cover up a rape/suicide and brush off a coach's negligence causing the death of a student. Oh wait....

It's about football nothing else, why u think Butch was a beast he did it at unc and I'm pretty sure he did it here.
Bowden said Bd was the hardest to recruit against, know why? All he said to a kid was come here play football don't do class work, bang signed sealed delivered. Same **** Jimbo and Saban do now,

After reading the title of the post I immediately thought of Louis Nix. For those who don't remember - a Jax kid who was strongly considering Miami. From what I have read/heard was a very marginal student at best. Always wondered how that kid was admitted to ND.
