After speaking with a source close to the recruitment I feel very confident in predicting that Jakai Clark will flip his commitment from Illinois to Miami in the near future. The 6'3'' offensive lineman is coming off an official visit to Miami which appears to have been enough to make him flip his commitment. I expect an announcement in the coming days.

Appreciate it. Would be a start to hopefully a number of commitments over the couple of weeks.

How does he compare to Eguakun? Downgrade, upgrade, break even?
maybe a bit of a downgrade but getting into Grayson is a massive plus. I honestly am not joking but I think they'll have something like 12 guys playing D1 football next year from that team and another half dozen or so the next year. They have recently started to produce D1 talent as well as any other school in the country.

They have 4 players in the Top 150 in the 2019 class. Their program is loaded with talent. Be great to establish some roots there.

offensive line is a wild card so bring in athletic guys that want to compete. so many good OL come from non power 5 schools.

Agree. Oline are so difficult to evaluate in games bc so many win strictly on size or strength in HS.

When it comes to Oline i'm all for taking lower ranked guys who show good feet/agility, nice bend and strong hands. If they have that, a good coach should be able to teach technique. If they don't have that, they better be **** good technicians bc the bump in talent they'll see in college will expose them. The missing piece is smarts....ability to learn/apply technique, ability to understand blocking calls and know who to block in the heat of a game.....and demeanor.
