Along with new head coach Stephen Field, their assistants are expected to include the following:

Brett Perriman/Snoop Minnis coaching WR
Vernon Carey with the OL

There is a rumor also that Fred Taylor will be coaching RBs, but that's not confirmed yet.

It's only a matter of time before the Bulls return to prominence.

And no, I wouldn't worry about Minnis or Taylor pushing players away from Miami.

You should worry...because that's exactly what they will do.

People I have talked to say that Field is very pro-Miami, plus the presence of Carey and Perriman will have an impact.

You guys take this stuff way too seriously. Stanford Samuels is at University HS, and while he is a Nole, he had great things to say about Miami to me when I met him once, and is all about what's best for the kids. Even spoke of his own recruitment and how he could have been a Cane. There is a lot less steering than you guys think.

This.

what bomb said. not happening. you really think, at a very pro UM hs like MNW, the locals are going to let those 2 steer kids? c'mon. they will be run off so quick it wouldn't be funny. so, if they value their job and want to stay on, they know what to do.
some of you guys are so gullible. think for a minute.

I went to FSU with snoop..dude doesnt hate on Miami and actually grew up a canes fan..We didnt offer him a scholarship we said he was too small..

Snoop has been to many, many Miami games, even WHILE HE WAS GOING TO FSU. He didnt get his scholarship because Butch had like 10 to give out. He was a probation era casualty.

no they straight up told him he was too small..they told his whole family that

why do you think this staff is so great? have they ever coached at any level? seems like you're just going off of name recognition

The head coach was a GA here, also got a coaching job at Hampton University

Brett Perriman has been coaching down there for awhile now.

Vernon Carey just retired a few months ago...guarantee he is automatically better than any ol coach in Dade county already..the ol coaching is horrific down here.

I kinda wish The Ravens would win the Super Bowl so Ed Reed and Ray Lewis can retire on top and if we could get just one of them into coaching it would be ****.

Wasn't Ken Dorsey starting to coach at some High School in FL or something? I could've sworn I read that a year or two ago.
