Former Miami Hurricane, Norchad Omier, today became the 13th player in NCAA Basketball history to record 2,000 career points and 1,500 rebounds.

Omier now plays at Baylor, prior to that he spent two years at Arkansas State and two years at Miami including a final four berth for the Hurricanes. While at Miami Omier recorded 1,014 points and 680 rebounds.

Omier is a beneficiary of the Covid rule where he got a full five years to play.
