Noles say Duke was stopped. Was He?

such a terrible call. Smith didn't even have Duke in his grasp. Would have lost anyway, but garbage call and the game could have been a little more interesting for a while longer at least

Imagine that, by that kind of officiating Winston and Johnny Football were stopped many times and it just wasn't called.

Awful call, dude had one hand on Duke. Nobody tackles Duke with one hand. They don't blow that dead if it's Jameis.

They didn't stop him on that play or in the game! Despite the "loss" on that play, and going out of the game in the 3rd quarter, Duke still ran for 97 yards on 23 carries!! That's against probably the best defense in college football.

Not having him the second half of the season was a HUGE loss, and it made our offense much more predictable. Louisville's D would not have been able to pin their ears back in that game to the same degree if he were in there.

Considering the guy that "stopped" him was actually engaged with a blocker it was a questionable call to say the least.

I know some will ask y I did this? The reason was I had FSU fans telling me this play was a good call and talking **** about Dukes yards. The only way for me to prove it was by providing the video. I am in no way saying it would have changed the outcome.

No way fsu stopped Duke this year. Duke was the best player on the field before he got hurt & that's saying a lot when 2 or the big 3 are playing each other.

Bull**** *** block by Hagens

That's what I took from the video as well. 1 bad call doesn't erase a beatdown, but execution as a team can. All Hagens had to do was get outside of Smith but instead he drove him right to the spot where Duke was trying to run to. That summarizes the season for us on both sides of the ball pretty much: always 1 guy to **** up a successful play.
