Florida State is in the early stages of what will be a DARK period for the program. Miami on probation type dreadful. You can out-talent teams with a mediocre coaching staff, or you can outcoach teams if you have average roster talent. We've seen teams compete for conference titles, playoffs etc. from both of those groups. FSU has the double whammy of mediocre coaching and below-average talent. and it ain't gonna get better as long as Norvell is there IMO. At least with Golden and Shannon, they landed a solid class or two (2008-09, 2012) that kept us from being an utter embarrassment. Not sure FSU will be so fortunate
