Obviously, it is out of respect to Vince McMahon and the XFL. After all, the XFL blocked that one QB from signing with the NFL.

They seem to have acknowledged that Stoops isn't happening, Franklin said no, and the FSU Board won't consider Norvell (his agent is the same as Jimbo/Taggart).

They've been so busy prepping for a pep rally / announcement tomorrow, that they forgot to hire a coach.

The Noles 247 report also states that Coach James Franklin wanted a sizable increase in his current pay for them to reach an agreement. I believe it was more than they felt confortable in paying. They said Iowa State HC, Matt Campbell is also a serious candidate.

latest report saying it might not even be this week now. Nole fans hyped themselves up all weekend that they're getting BGB or Franklin by today, now they're desperately hoping for Norvell over Odell. Even Campbell reportedly told his team he's not going anywhere.
