Meanwhile, they're over the moon about a guy that quit on his team who was pursued by no one in the portal. Desperation isn't when you land a guy like Beck. It's when you land a guy like Castellanos well before the portal closes because you (1) know that you don't have the money to compete with the big dogs and (2) can't miss out on any QB.
