The question none of them seem to be asking is, in order to hire a name brand coach, how much per year would it cost them to do it? I mean, it’s doubtful that any power5 coach worth anything is lining up to leave their better situation in order to take on a 4 year rebuild project. It’s unlikely any coaching legends are sitting in retirement to wait for that job to open up. So who do they replace him with? They’d have to take another chance on a g5 up and comer. How much would it take to get urban Meyer to come out of his well paid retirement lifestyle to take over a roster that isn’t even well built but poorly developed?
