Let’s be real, after this year we will likely get one of the top portal qbs available. And then they’ll just go back to saying, “Mario couldn’t win without Quinn ewers”, or whatever stud we end up with. The problem with being an ace recruiter is that they’ll always be able to say “he’s only winning because his players are so good”. I for one, don’t give a crap, because one of the requirements of college football is recruiting

They’re banking on the portal, I don’t think they realize how bad it’s going to be. They aren’t going to get the top guys but I’d also predict they’ll struggle with the Bama/UGA rejects as well.

Yeah, think Norvell and to his credit benefited being an early mover in the portal. Some coaches/programs were using it but were still somewhat hesitant. Now with the returns being as positive as they have been and everyone except for Dabo is all in with all their chips.
