Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

😂 I can experiment with it. Like I can scalp Norvell’s corn rows and put them in place of Sling Blade Billy’s hair???

I mentioned this in another thread, but I think you have to start integrating my "****ting dog" avatar in some of your brilliant artwork...

(and I promise not to attack you for your juvenile antics involving GIFs...)

I need it without words. Then I don’t know what to do with that lol

I mean they’re FSU nutbag fans but in this one car they’re not wrong.

Either the program is broke and therefore cannot possibly afford to fire Norvell no matter how badly they play, or they will somehow find enough money to pay his buyout, cap off Taggart, pay the buyout of the head coach they hire away and pay up for a respectable staff. Which one is it?

I personally think they’re too poor to replace the guy with anyone better. So by definition he’s not on the hot seat. He’s just a mediocre coach working for a mediocre program whose best days are behind them.
I'm not sure how you figure he's even a mediocre coach, but the rest I agree with.

Real talk....are these guys seriously in the running for a single Top 200 recruit?

Honestly.

We all know recruiting is fluid. And I guess they actually will sign a Top 200 kid. (Maybe?)

But their highest commit right now is ranked #202. Are there any kids who are considered "locks" to them right now in the Top 200? Seriously....it seems like they are nowhere to be found on any of these kid's lists.

We have Robby Washington committed, and for example, I think we have a very sizeable lead on a kid like Rueben Bain. Again, it's fluid. But you gotta think he's a strong Miami lean as of now, and he's #148. Does FSU have a single kid like this in the Top 200? I really don't think they do. If they have another bad season they may not finish in the top 40 in recruiting. Am I crazy? It's not ESD, but it's basically June....
I think the last 10 pages of them claiming they didn't even want kid after kid who committed to a low-budget directional program answer your question.

But if that doesn't do it, the answer is no. They don't have anybody of that caliber, and they'd need a massive turnaround to get anyone like that.

Nope that's the thing they aren't in it with any heavy hitter blue chip prospects

He won 10+ games twice in 4 years at Memphis. You don’t do that if you’re completely clueless. And FSU was definitely better in 2021 than 2020, although how could they have been worse? And they were still garbage. Cornrow Mike can coach. There’s no doubt. But coaching doesn’t do much for you if you’re at a talent disadvantage. And he can’t recruit a lick. Also “coaching” goes beyond the field. A huge part of it is assembling a staff. He seems to be poor at that as well. So he can’t recruit, he assembled a staff who sucks at it too, his program doesn’t seem to be overly competitive from an NIL/monetary standpoint….but he’s a pretty good actual football coach. Roll that up and, well, best of luck lol

"No major weaknesses anywhere on both sides of the ball" 😂😂😂
If they are going to say that, why stop there?

“My analysis on this roster - run through my Apple II BASIC algorithm - shows no weaknesses. None. To me, the question of 2022 is not whether we will win games. It’s clear we win them all. Rather, it is how many points - if any - that we allow.

In my mind the championship is already won. The analysis clearly indicates that as so. Coach Norvell’s greatest and perhaps only challenge is to keep his players from becoming bored along the way.”

This delusional fool…

Does this guy realize they would need a huge, across the board improvement just to go 7-5? It’s not like they’ve been a good team that could make the playoffs with a couple of lucky bounces. They’re bad. They lose to FCS teams. The only area where they’re not below average is rushing offense and that’s mostly because they can’t throw so they HAVE to run almost every down.

They are serious on this as to why they are now trying to get two QBs this class

I absolutely love the "The intent is to play this year and then go pro." I thought he was going to say Travis would be replaced by a younger QB who's better and he would transfer. Nope!!!! LMAO!!!!

The guy who's probably the 9th or 10th best QB in the ACC is going to turn pro in 2023 with 1 year of eligibility remaining. This is glorious!!!!

They're a G5 team, and not even a good one.

1. No Name School = W
2. LSU = L
3/4. Louisville + BC = Split if they're lucky
5. Wake = L
6. NC State = L
7. Clemson = L
8. Ga Tech = W
9. Miami = L (they'll be 3-5 headed into our game)
10. Cuse = W
11. Louisiana = Toss Up
12. UiF = L (though I actually hope they pull the upset here)

best case 6-6, probably 4-8.

Now add their 2023 class to that trash heap and project their W/L out a couple years. They have no hope.

lackluster past few seasons with really poor recruiting classes for 2022/23, this team could be in a funk for 3-5 years. I'm sure they'll also make another crappy hire. I guess their saving grace is the portal....possibly.

Agreed. But honestly, what quality NFL-bound portaler would go to a mediocre G5 team? I know Johnson ate us alive last year. But I seriously doubt a guy of his quality would transfer in now or in the future under the new NIL paradigm and continued program deterioration.

I know I'm being harsh. But that program doesn't even look like an Al Golden team or late Randy Shannon team. It is a dumpster fire.

from your fingertips to god's eyes, but if that happens, they are hiring a new coach. likely deion i'm guessing. not like he's some proven great commodity, but he'll be better than this dork they have now

True. Mark Richt won with some Al Golden talent.

But I can't even see Nick Saban turning F$U around in 2 years unless he Portals in at least half of a new roster.
