Nfl seems to be highly likely to proceed with their season per nflpa prez so ncaa should follow suit

Two different ball games. You talking about paid professional versus kids. There is not one school in America going to jeopardize a students life and risk a major lawsuit.

I understand the distinction between nfl & ncaa but the Covid mortality rate is less than 0.5 of a %. Unless a second wave truly occurs, which the cdc now indicates is unlikely, the statistical odds of endangering a student athletes life is minimal. We should be able to play in the fall with limited stadium crowds.

The CDC changes their story every week, nobody knows anything, 100k dead already, even if only kid dies they can't justify playing.

Should they cancel the season if one kid dies from heatstroke or a cardiac problem?

The number of healthy young men in their 20s who have died from this virus is microscopic.

That 100k death number is most likely fabricated and highly skewed within hot spots like NY state & Michigan. Not to mention once Medicare started reimbursements much higher for all deaths marked as Covid deaths w/o credence to pre Covid existing conditions makes the 100k figure that much more suspicious. In summation, we can play football in the fall.

Kids their age are actually more at risk of dying form the regular flu than corona. This is statistical fact. People need to learn to read, research and understand what the numbers are actually telling us. Stop leaving in perpetual fear.

kids aren’t at risk, it’s the 70yr old coaches who might catch to from the kid etc...

Agree, more folks are going to die from the stress, depression, and anxiety that this virus is responsible for, but no one hears about this stat : amazing every number we have gotten from the so call experts have been wrong, and badly wrong. Now they don't even know the number of deaths, the famous did he died of covid or from covid, good grief. Now Fauci is saying prolonging the shut down will do harm, no really. These are the so called experts we are listening to, staying in doors is worst than going outside give me a break.

Are there any restrictions after kids signs his letter of intent?
We have plenty of camps and 7v7 tournaments Throughout the year. Why not have a yearly banquet somewhere nice like the Biltmore and invite all the new kids that just signed their loi. Have a former player give a keynote speech. Maybe handout an award.
It would be very impressionable to the new players and they would get a lot of advice. It would also be nice way way to have the players remain in contact tact with the school and a way for them to continue networking.
Any thoughts?
