Hmmm....Sports radio station in Atlanta -680 the Fan - is reporting that the UM Football and Basketball teams are not expected to get any further sanctions given to them. Wonder where they got that from?

did they quote that they received it from an article or just said it out the blue?

It is part of their hour and 1/2 hour news breaks. Cite the firing of the Lesch woman, and then state that the U is not expected to receive any further sanctions.

NCAA doesn't want to open up a can of worms that gives ammunition to Penn State, USC and Ohio State. You know these schools are watching the UM case like vultures.

Don't we have a strong alumni base in Atlanta too?

Based on our turnout when we play in the ATL, and the numbers of the Atlanta Hurricanes club?

Yes.

In fact, there is a reason our head coaches normally come here to speak every year.

Like most media in the 21st century, they probably pulled it out of their ***.

I'm assuming they have the burner phone in question, which is akin to jumping on the bricks above the underground levels of Super Mario Bros. and running straight to the portal tubes.

Everyone must be ready to transfer lives over as needed. We're so **** close.

Thanks for sharing OP, but like others said I think that radio station is assuming we wont get anything else.

I'm thinking this is just their estimate based on the recent developments. It's a fair conclusion to jump to for rational people, but as we all know the NCAA isn't rational.
