no depth chart will be released

Interesting. I guess they felt the roster would be good enough and anything else they want to know they will find out on Monday. Is it even mandatory to release a depth chart? Never knew if it was or wasnt.

Or maybe we will get it after they announce the jersey? Who knows.

miami releases its depth chart contained inside its' Game Notes which is a brochure mainly for the covering press. it always contains the depth chart for spotters. This one for Louisville http://hurricanesports.com/fls/28700/football/2014/weekly.pdf?DB_OEM_ID=28700 doesn't. Kinda like publishing that Kayaa runs a 5.8 forty.

They release it mainly for the covering press?

I'm sure SMD and Navarro need to refer to it quite often in order to write their sophomoric columns.

Who really cares about a public depth chart? I'm sure the team knows where they stand on the pecking order.

Personally, I'm glad they kept it in the dark. Why give any intel to your opponent?

I always thought it was mandatory but maybe I got that mixed up with the Injury report?

The depth chart is final except rt, s, cb.

More than likely gabodois at rt, howard and gunter at cb, and bush and crawford at s.

I would start burns at cb to get more speed. Howard and gunter is a slow *** cb duo.

I believe you're correct. The conference mandates depth chart and travel rosters for away teams. There's no mandate to offer it to the media.
