The narrative around here is Cam and other player's that opted out don't owe the fans anything. I mean weren't they paid by the collective to play and the collective is funded by the fans. When your paid to do a job you do the job. My question is, why cant they put in the NIL contract that they half to play in the post season. Imo the fans are getting cheated on the their investment. This BS makes me not want to pay any more money to the collective.

You say this as if Cristobal wouldn’t have made another bonehead decision to cost UM the game if Ward had played the entire game. You may want to take notice that UM only led by a FG going into the half and Iowa State was matching us TD for TD. No reason to believe the game doesn’t come down to the wire again even with Ward. Difference is probably that we have a 6 pt lead with 1:30 left and need the defense to hold to win the game. And I think you know how that would turn out.

If a player is going to sit out they will sit out and no matter what you put in an NIL contract it can’t be stopped.

All a player has to say is that they are injured and they can’t be forced to play if they’re injured and no coach will chance making them play and taking a chance that maybe they really are and they go out and really get injured.

There is always a dumb *** in here. 1) Yes I am not much of a poster more of a reader, but that doesn't make me less of a fan(Fan for 45 years and Alumni). 2) I run a business and don't have a lot of free time to live on the forums like most on here, so how bout **** OFF!!!

Hey, you just posted 2 more times. That's fantastic Mr. Unique poster that is definitely not a burner account. 11 more posts and you'll be up to 1 a year.

But more on topic: I completely disagree with your initial posts.

There will be a whole lot of post-season "injured" players for meaningless bowls if they have any chance at going high in the draft. I hate the current culture, but at this point, skip the having to create injuries and just play or don't. I'd be in favor of removing bowls altogether from team records and they could become glorified tryouts for next year's team.
