Do we have one?

Just re-watched the game. They ask Cornelius & Armbrister to cover slot WRs WAY too much.

Not sure I understand the strategy here. Even if worried about the run, draw, screen, etc... Cornelius and Armbrister often weren't even in the box to have a chance to make a play on the ball. So what purpose do they serve?

And a few times D'Onofrio dialed up a Cover 1 man safety blitz (ok fine with that)... but Cornelius would get beat on the play (by a below average slot WR)
You can not convince me that Cornelius is better in coverage than Howard or any other CB we have on the roster.

Mind boggling at times.

Our D is mind boggling all the times. Nothing is making sense to me at the moment. Hopefully, we just have to weather the storm

I don't recall Cornelius or Armbrister being burned too often. And if they can't help out in pass coverage, they need to have their scholarships revoked... cause that's their role as converted safeties.

Our woes in the passing game come from not getting a good pass rush, playing out of position, and... unfortunately.... our corners McGee, Finnie, and Antonio Crawford lost some individual battles for big gains.

Cornelius was part of the nickel coverage, playing LB. At one point in the game, we were so banged up at LB that Cornelius and Fentress were out there in nickel.

As far as covering guys in the slot, if we're in zone and a slot receiver motions out from the wide side to the short side, the nickel corner is staying out wide and the backer trails out toward the slot receiver. Happened quite a bit Saturday.

This should be when D. Bush drops down in coverage...
