i want Barnes more than anything. Been wishing he was full court pressed since the spring.
 
The only reason why people are creaming over this kid is his star rating. If he only had 3 stars next to him and a ranking of 387, you all would be screaming and crying about taking too many projects. It's ridiculous. Jalen Goss us basically a carbon copy of petit frere.

This is ridiculous. I like Goss, but just watch the tape. NPF has been absolutely dominant at the high school level. Even when he was rated lower people were talking about how he had elite LT potential.

Goss is underrated, sure. He could be a multiyear starter here. But NPF has some of the best film I've ever seen out of a HS tackle.

If you want to complain about overrated HS OL, just look at the IMG guys. None of them are as good as their ratings

Do we actually have a chance with this kid? Not a through orange and green set of glasses chance but a real chance?

Man this kid would solve a lot of problems for the foreseeable future.

Results are the only thing that matter, but we’ve definitely tried to get Barnes. Offensive tackle prospects in central and north Florida don’t show much love to us despite our need for them

He is visiting isn't he? I personally don't think that we're a player for him but there is always chance.

But he's not a 3 star and he doesn't have a ranking of 387. Time to step out of your pessimistic fantasy land.
 
Not really worried about Michigan like most were when Harbaugh went over there and started trying to get his presence known in South Florida. That guy in year 4 is going to be under a microscope with the season they just had. His shine is all but gone at this point.

Yeah. A guy who hasn’t been on our radar for a long while and who we are trying to get In for a late Jan visit are almost always too little too late kinds of recruits
