NFL to restrict underclassmen evaluations for draft

Thought it was already at 5. They also are only giving underclassmen grades of 1st, 2nd or later. So they eliminated the 3-5 bracket

Good for the NFL. Trying to save these kids (and their "handlers") from themselves.

Guys aren't even starters on their own team, but think they should go pro. The egos are ridiculous. This rule will curb that.

How many guys went undrafted this year???

Doubt it will matter. These kids think they should be getting paid already--and in sec, fsu and osu they are. There are many reasons kids go early and most of them are really related to how high they will go.

Around 37 Underclassmen

I thought the NFL.com link is better: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...enting-changes-to-address-underclassmen-issue
-Of the 107 who declared early, 45 were undrafted, with a majority still unsigned.
-8 schools exceeded 5 requests, Miami was one of them. LSU had the most requests at 11, but Miami, FSU, and Alabama each had 10.
-from 2012-2014 drafts, the board was accurate on 73% of its 1st round grades, and 85% of its 2nd round grades. But only 50% on 3rd round grades. and 53% of those with 3rd round grade or lower, went undrafted.
-the note above is why they are only doing the 1st, 2nd and neither grades now.
