I’m open to all criticism and feedback to make future podcasts better. To get this out of the way now, I plan to continue hosting podcasts, but will not interview any current players or high school recruits so there’s no conflict of interest with my future plans.
Was a little nervous, I think I should've had a better outline too heading in. Some things started popping in my head and I deviated a bitSounds like you’re thinking too hard while talking bro. I’m sure you’ll get the jitters out. Appreciate it my dude.
Thank you will doGreat podcast. One quick tip: Don't wait a full minute to introduce yourself! Kick it off by saying it's the CIS podcast and you're Austin "Milton Berle" Pfenninger.
Don't let the short term affect your long term"No conflict of interest with my FUTURE PLANS". Very interesting!!!
Thank youEpic podcast.
Apfenny you’re one smart dude.

I recorded the interview first, then my solo segment after.Sounded like you settled in nicely once you got going! Appreciate the insight as always!
I appreciate it I’ll try to stick to this going forwardAs someone who has both produced and hosted podcasts in the past, that's exactly what you should do. Here's a few tips from my experience:
1. Come prepared with a short outline of what you want to cover - try and list by priority because habitually you will spend more time on first topics versus later topics
2. Highlight any specific questions/updates that you absolutely want to get in, otherwise you will forget and regret it later
3. Attempt to stick to a "schedule" - have a soft cap on how long you plan to spend on any one topic and be prepared with transitions/segways
4. Most importantly, DO NOT TREAT IT LIKE YOU'RE ON THE RADIO - the most successful casters treat their shows like a casual conversation, not like they are speaking into a microphone. This is one example where "keepin' it real" is exactly what you should be doing.
The Ringer has some really good quality shows (Bill Simmons Podcast), as does Uninterrupted (Road Trippin') that you could learn from.
Good luck!
Thank you, Badge is a great guy. I chose him first because he’s funny and easy to talk to, which made my job much easier my first time doing itGood job Austin. I'm not sure I could do this so I don't even know where to start about tips and what not. Badgley sounds like a funny confident dude. Wish him the best.
Good idea will doI liked it. One suggestion is that for any former player who played under both Golden and Richt, ask how they were different, who they liked better etc. That always is good if they will answer. I liked listening to Badge. Gave me some good insight into his background.
