Coming down to visit in a couple of weeks

Hopefully it works out since Heuerman doesn't even have us in his top 3 anymore

if the kid is actually 245 as a junior (I doubt it) he will likely be a blocking/possession type TE. he doesnt look that explosive IMO. thinking we need a playmaker at TE
 
Bigtip, some of our most productive tight ends weren't explosive.

They could certainly block, but all they had to do was get down field enough for a first down and catch the damned ball. You can do that with consistency - you can dominate!

A tall tight end that's large and can catch? Scares the crap out of defenses.

My question exactly. Very discouraging to hear we're already playing catch up with Heureman.

I think one clear reason why we're struggling is the kids today arent nearly as stupid as we think they are. They watch the games, see the ways teams utilize their positions, and we havent prominently featured the TE since Greg Olsen was here. I'm really hoping Walford and Cleveland see a lot of balls this year. I think they are both legit physical talents.

He'll end up putting weight if he's that big already. This is the kind of kid who ends up at OT.

Dwreck27 real talk man... they say they are fans and grew up fans why not go to your fav school and make a difference... they want to go to these schools that are hot right now... I call them wagonist... we don't want them... give Miami 2 more years and we will be in the top 5 year in and year out and stay there and win a few more ships!
