New Recruiting Board Rules needed ...

Anytime anyone mentions a 5* player they are automatically banned for 2 weeks.

We are never getting another 5* ever again.

The rules may need to be adjusted to include 4* guys but we do get our fair share of overrated 4* guys that never do ****-on-shine-ola so for the time being mentioning a 4* should only result in infraction points.

Recruiting 5* guys from South FL is ****ing into the wind with shorts on.

Guys, wake up, the recruiting sites are simply hurting for hype and are banking on the 2021 QB class to give them cash and credibility. 247 composite has 5 2021 QBs as 5* and another 6 rated over .95. If Garcia is a 5* why did he chuck 3 picks in 1 high school game? Take a look at the hype they gave Haynes King this offseason..... go check out his stats this season..... Nothing but a head slap.... Even funnier, take a lookie at the previous darling of QB hopefuls at Miami and current GA commit Carson Beck........ I have not seen Carson play this year so he may be a victim of a bad team....

It is a crap shoot! a 3 star may out perform a 5 star. Let's give Diaz an opportunity! He wins the next 2 games we got a great shot to get to the ACC championship game. No way NC runs the table.

Did not age well at all. To be fair, this was in the peak Dias timeframe though. I do wonder if we should've added this to the CIS Laws of Recruiting thread though

That was pre-NIL and pre-Mario.

and this one still applies even with our 180 degree turn and commitment to investing hundreds of millions into the football program.

I guess you forgot about Hykeem Williams and Jalen Brown and the Smith commitment yesterday.

Can it change in the future if we get rolling ... yes. Is it a forgone conclusion ... nope.

Indeed. There are two CIS laws of recruiting that Mario has yet to break and may in fact be the last to fall. We'll see.

  • 5* SFL Receivers are mercenaries and will never commit/play for UM
  • Can't pull a legit 5* recruit from SFL (added this today based on your input @ssvir )

I don't think Jalen Brown is a 5* at WR in any case though.
