Nah, Cager is like 6’5” or so. This kid, according to what I’ve read, is like 6’1, so different body types. If the staff wants him, I don’t mind the signing. I’m sure they’ve evaluated him properly. My only question is his speed. And if he’s as slow as his time suggests, then how good are his routes? I’m gonna have to defer to the professionals on this one.

Let’s recruit a kid because his HS colors are orange and green. GTFOH. Are you serious? No, no, and no. If Dugans thinks he’s a Mullins replacement then fine. I believe we need more speed at WR if we take another in this class. There’s no Thomas or Richards so far. We
Need to flip Thornton already.

Im with the "F Thornton" crowd too. Let him go rot in G-ville with "DB-U" and the rest of those clowns. Tell him to ask Brandon Powell after about 5 shots of Patron how he thinks his UF career has panned out. Buddy is going out a complete and utter loser like Matthew Thomas, Erman Lane and the rest of them. And as they should.

Plus with all this "UF contacting Chip Kelly" talk Thornton probably isnt going anywhere anyway.

I didn't watch this kid's film, so this is more of a general comment than a knock on this kid. With our recent success and the national exposure (turnover chain) that has come with it, aren't we going to be getting calls late in the process from guys not even on our radar now? Like we did with Jeff Thomas last year, or Seantrel Henderson a few years back.

The staff should keep recruiting and taking care of business, but if we only have a few offers left, we might be better off saving them for January.
