"Ok, look at me now. We invested a lot in this game. We invested a lot into this - and I want you to know I appreciate it, how much we invested in this game. Winners invest, regardless of the circumstance. Obviously we've had some adversity of late, and I know it's been frustrating, but I wanted to let them know it wasn't because you didn't do things the right way. You did do things the right way."

Hugo seems like a good kid and like him. That's the problem as we lack some bad mean men.

Hey, fellas, you guys practiced hard and stuff, so thanks for that. Losing to Duke with a chance to win the Coastal? Whatever. The point is we TRIED OUR BEST.

The fact that Al was not ripping them confirms a lot of our concerns. "It's okay guys" feel to it. Jimmy would of had them find their own ride home. The team plays soft as Al is soft

The Morris thing was a bad sign, but that attitude has to come from somewhere. This just confirms what we thought.

The biggest question is who do you guys think got to ride in Golden's minivan on the way home, and did he pull into a Sonic to get them milkshakes for trying hard?

I'm happy for the kid, but is it wrong that I'm not really that excited to see another story of a walk on? We saw the Fentress one last year or 2 years ago. Great. Seems like these are turning into propaganda. Maybe they were all along and we were all blinded.

Al Golden is a loser and this video and his speech proves it. Get this walking cliche out of the Gables

Can anyone imagine an established and reputable coach thanking his team for trying hard after losing to Duke with their division on the line?
