Glad Lewis back to 100%. Really looking forward to him having a productive season! He was really picking up his game before the injury!

I was seated on the 5-10 yd line at that game and that play happened right in front of me and my son. It was just heartbreaking to see that injury occur. I truly felt this kids promising career was over before it had a chance to really get going. I am so happy to see him back and excited about what he can do for us on the field, I'm really pulling for this kid.

I remember being in the stands for this game at the other end of the stadium & the lack of info that went around in the stands. After I got back home & watched the game and I saw on TV how he got hurt, I was in shock again. I welled up with pride in the Spring game and again today watching the Raising Canes vid to see the recovery that this young man has made. I'm looking forward to see him & the other receivers torch secondaries this year & for years to come.

Al Golden showed what he was about that day at Georgia Tech. I think we'll look back at the moment for years to come...

Golden loves Malcolm Lewis. He's definitely one of his favorites.

he loves him because he is a great kid, hard worker, listens, and has nfl talent.

liked the kid even during the reruiting process.

Kid is just straight forward/ business like. We have a few like that in Allen Hurns also....

Lewis,Duke, Hurns seems like guys that just wanna play ball....like they could be walking down the street and a dude throws a ball and instantly it will become a game for them.

Thats old school Miami...guys that just like the game...not the fame of it. Got away with it with some of the national/star/ band wagon commits and players on the team.

Which is why i like Al recruiting the Nigel Bethel's, Dennis Turner's, Langham's, Chad Thomas...these guys seem to have that mindset.

Malcolm was the one recruit other than Duke who I felt was going to be one of our greats for some reason. Have to admit to tears when he got hurt. When it happened, I did not notice him reaching up to Al as coach bent down. I don't think I have ever seen a head coach of a major D1 university laying on the ground hugging an injured freshman. This kid must be something special to have gotten that from Al. And watching Duke over him at the same time speaks volumes for both these young men and our coach. These men are going to make us so proud. They get it: "It's a Cane thing, you wouldn't understand." Malcolm, I hope you take 3 to the house against the swamp scum.

I think Al would do that for any of his players, that's the type of coach he is.

What do you mean? Kids that aren't like that clown Keith Bryant?

I love that attitude. I firmly believe that the type of mindset those kids have is the thing that can separate winners and losers in a lot of games. To have a group of kids as leaders who can go to their team and remind them that, even in pressure spots, it's just playing ball is a great advantage to the program. They know what the goals are of the team and can eliminate everything else in pursuit of them.
