I just saw a commercial on ESPNU saying they're unveiling the new trophy pretty soon.

I personally liked the "Crystal Ball" trophy. Hopefully they keep it.

You don't want people to think you're about nothing but profiteering, you draw the line somewhere...and that somewhere is probably way before you have an official soft drink for your championship trophy.

Does anyone not know who or what Dr. Pepper is? Having them as a sponsor, seeing their name around for however many millions of dollars, is that going to make you run out and buy one?

There's good advertising and then there's the kind that's about ego. If Coke or Pepsi wanted their name on this trophy, it'd be there. It is in a way since Dr. Pepper is part of Pepsi....or is it Coke?

What a day we live in. Stadiums used to have names that remained the same for a lifetime, now they change yearly. Is there anything that isn't for sale?
