This is still in the early stages, but I was told me a couple of people that UF commit Quinton Powell has interest in Miami and this is mutual.

We will monitor the situation as it goes on, but the source told me that Powell is not completely happy with UF at the moment and the Canes have reached out to him.

+1. Also Powell is a great prospect but he's a couple notches below Big 6. As a prospect I view him as a more college-ready Gabe Terry: undersized but quick edge rusher who can run the arc and disrupt the backfield. Hopefully he has a separate spot or is a backup plan because even Powell isn't good enough to replace Thomas: no one is.
