I hope we play hard for this game... lord knows its our biggest rivalry and we need this for recruiting purposes. But if kids are looking for early playing time i think Miami is the best place for that. Just by looking at what we are working with on our roster. Guys like Matthew Thomas should already be hungry to play here and should know all he needs to bring is work ethic. Winning guys like that only makes us know we are going in the right direction.
 
Sooo let me get this straight. Kacy Rodgers is the clear cut starter at SS and Ricardo Williams comes out of oblivion and is in the 2 deep. I really cant take to much anymore.
 
I guess everyone got their wish with Denzel moving outside.


Did I see MLB right, is it a 3-way tie? I saw three "OR's" there with Kirby being one. Kirby has to be a beast if he's already forcing a 3-way tie for the Mike spot as a true freshman who's been injured most of the season.


As for Gunter over Howard, I'm sure they'll all play a bunch vs. the Noles. Gunter probably had a good week of practice.

With all due respect to Kirby, I could find linebackers in the MEAC that would beat out Gaines and Paul.
 
I think Kirby will be starting at MLB by the end of the season.

You could tell during Fall camp that he's someone the coaches really wanted in the lineup this year.
 
The youth on this team is unreal. Only losing one senior on Offense in Mike James who has done a great job this year but can be replaced by Duke, Clements, and Collins easily. Then, on D we only lose McGee who has also improved a lot but I think we all believe he can be replaced with the young guys we have. I think our biggest loss is Botts. Man 1-2 years from now this team will be absolutely loaded
 
How the **** do we not have anyone better than Rodgers at safety? He hasn't had 1 decent game his whole career here.

im ******* done with this ****.,., Why in the ham sam is Rodgers playing dam it.. Why dont they give Gunter a try at safety for crying out loud!!

Heard the same thing from everyone in 2008 when we played the Gators faily close with alot of youngsters leading the way........
 
I hate Rodgers as much as the next guy but you aren't going to make Gunter switch positions in the middle of the year.

There are no better options until Jenkins is ready

All of this.

Kacy Rodgers is garbage.

If Crawford had been kept on defense, he would be the starting safety right now.

Davon Johnson has been our most consistent WR this year.

How he isn't starting is beyond me. He has played much better than Hurns.

Davon Johnson needs to be on the field over Dorsett and Hurns at this point. He's the only guy you can trust to catch.

Why the **** is Dallas Crawford at RB? Move made zero sense

I'm happy to see DP back outiside, hope to see more of Kirby as the season goes along as well.

Dallas was moved because we had no depth at RB. He seemed to play well in the slot and they liked him with the ball in his hands. Personally I would rather see Dillard as the 4th option at RB and Craford moved back to S.

How many times can you switch a kid's position before it becomes detrimental? He had a chance to make it happen at safety...against Kacy Rodgers and AJ Highsmith...and they thought he was better off at RB. How on Earth is he going to beat out those same guys PLUS Bush/Jenkins/Carter/Burns etc. now? We don't need another body at safety just for the sake of it, we need guys to be in the best position to help the team as determined by the staff that watched them every day.
